Same. It will either be amazing or terrible.

Same. For me it sits better than McDonald’s and I don’t feel gross afterwards.

This is exactly me. For a server it’s Linux but for everyday use/work a MacBook Pro is great. It just works. It’s great as you can fire up the command line to manage Linux servers easily. That’s how I admin my Lemmy Ansible install.

For gaming I use Windows. It’s all about the best tool for the job.

I feel you. I had to do the whole training/screen sharing thing for new hires in India. Generally I keep it to a 2 hour session and then get them to practise/slack questions in combination of “busy” work to keep them occupied. No way I could do that for a full day.

Each instance stores post thumbnails locally even if the post was on another server. It actually takes up quite a bit of hdd space.

I’m more talking global purchases. Just the email will probs be ok but if you purchase using that email and a vpn it raises flags.

Great to know! Thanks :)

Yep, had some dick try to smash into my house. Got a clear look at him and yelled at him in my angry voice and he fucked off. A month later police called me and asked for specific details about his look. I was like wtf? Maybe ask me when you arrived 5 minutes later and not now. I couldn’t remember shit.

I’ll be honest, when it comes to online purchases you may find that a protonmail email will require extra processing/fraud checking due to the amount of fraudsters that use it. Combine that with a vpn and it will just be a pain here and there with online purchases like additional ID verification/delayed orders etc…

Typing in maps addresses that are too complex for the voice recognition to understand.

You should still be able to do that on the car touchscreen just like the old Tom Tom etc…

They also forget that sometimes there is a passenger wanting to do this, it’s not always just the driver in the car.
