Zenith HealthKit z-89 , Dad built it, I played it. He bought me a “intro to basic” book and I never stopped making games for my brother to lose. He figured it out I mapped all choices to eventually lose. those were fun times

How did you make the paper piecing pattern. I have done a few paper pieces but never created a pattern.

I have this really nice and very fluffy wool batting that I purchased at a Sheep and Wool festival. Only problem is I am extremely nervous about bearding. I really want a very warm blanket for the very cold days.

Does anyone have any experience using this type of batting? I am almost wondering if I should sandwich it between two thin layers of cotton or linen?

Working on my backlog of 10-ish quilt tops that need to be quilted.

Long-arm is rental via Spring Water Designs in Columbia,MD. Not affiliated, they are a nice shop that really is helpful even to new quilters.

Took me 4 hours to load and quilt 10 squares of 30! Indecision was mine. I should have had a quilt plan before I arrived and should not have fussed trying to get the center seam in back dead center with top.

Knit while walking (slower than a power walk) on treadmill = getting my steps in for the day

This only works for sock knitting for me or doing sleeves where most of the work is on a platform in front of me.

For Lace/chart knitting I count out-loud to keep husband from interrupting mid-repeat. I have him trained to wait and I will stop at the end of the repeat

Youtube videos. See how many repeats you can get in during ads. Like to support my subs with the ads. Volume is muted and I have closed captions on. So if I am not looking, they are getting the ad revenue without me actually “watching” them.

Sleep number 100 here. Belly sleeper I prefer “very firm”. Husband is sleep number 32 , back & side sleeper and wants all the fluff, this is why we have sleep number that was purchased 10 years ago and still works.

Edit: the sleep number mattress we bought was third cheapest. Just enough to get the app access to the firmness adjuster.
