I find that people who use BTC treat it as an investment. People who use Monero use it as money.

Was looking for something like this! I didn't want to contribute to one of the massive pools but was having a hard time finding a good pool to use. Thank you very much! Do you have an XMR Address that you could share? I'd like to send a micropayment your way as a thanks!

I assume you're mining in a pool? If so, may I ask which one you're using? Definitely not a small reward in my opinion, this would be of use to me, especially since I have servers and SBCs just sitting there doing nothing. Might be worth getting them setup.

Genuinely curious here. How long have you been mining and has it given you any returns? Looking into potentially turning one of my Single Board Computers into a mining machine, but haven't quite pulled the trigger yet.

I was going to pop up a Monero node using this landchad.net tutorial, don't know if this is of any help, but thought it could potentially be of use.

Glad you like it. I actually made it because I fell for the trap of one of the providers, whose policies were not as transparent as they appeared to be. I wasn't able to get a refund once I figured it out and got inspired to write this article, so others didn't make the same mistakes I did. I'm glad it's been helpful to people.

Glad you think so!

Not your keys? Not your coins!

I didn't know about this! Thank you! I especially like that it has a "payment" option. Putting in the number of coins that I need to receive has been a huge issue for me in the past! Will definitely be trying this out!

Sideshift used to be my go to place to swap, them removing XMR is such a pain. I guess theoretically I could do XMR --> BTC and send the BTC to the sideshift deposit address, but that really seems like a huge pain, I imagine the fees would be crazy too.

I've been lucky to where most the places I buy from either accept Monero or accept an easy to swap to token like BTC, LTC and DOGE, but I have come across one or 2 exchanges which only accept "stable coins". With sideshifts removal of XMR this will be an even bigger challenge.
