lol that's now how I meant it but I can see how it could be interpreted that way. I meant that the comment is clearly racist so "at worst" meaning like the OP didn't MEAN to say something super racist but now everyone thinks they're racist.

they're certainly perpetuating racism in keeping the name. Clarence Thomas is Black and he's racist against Black people, so it definitely happens.

"these days" aka "has been offensive for at least 30 years"

"colored people" is racist and if you think it's okay to say, you're racist too.

Yes we are. They are very different. One is racist, the other is not. And it's been that way for decades. There is no excuse.

If you find yourself agreeing with a bigot, maybe reexamine your rhetoric

The fact that this racist-at-best, woefully-ignorant-at-worst comment is at +40 votes right now is pretty telling to me. Guess the userbase of lemmy.world is pretty bigoted.

Anyone with half a brain cell knows it's not the LGBTQIA+ community grooming children, and the data shows it. It's priest, family members, and teachers. Anyone who was actually a member of the alphabet mafia would be shouted from the rooftops by Fox, just like they did when the trans person committed a mass shooting, ignoring that White Men commit them at like 1000x times the rate of trans people.

I only use Sonarr/Radarr, but I also use usenet not torrents, and I've never had an issue finding things with the indexer I use

It's pretty much an objective fact that voting third-party (especially in a swing state), is indeed "throwing your vote away". It has been well studied and well documented.
