How is it thoughtless? It may not be the most useful gift to a deep hobbyist, but to say that it is thoughtless is ridiculous. It takes thought to remember something someone else is into and to get them something related to that. In fact, a friend of mine gifted me a bunch of Warhammer minis for painting last Christmas, which is one of my hobbies, and they go right next to all the minis I bought myself, perfectly fitting into my hobby.

Also, what is with you and the person I commented on doing with these weird takes? Termites are known to exclusively eat wood and other plant-based matter. A bite may cause an allergic reaction, but I doubt there has ever been a case where termites ate a person alive. Are you literally Pinocchio?

Edit: Minor edit and additions.

There are certainly worse things than a thoughtful, potentially redundant gift related to something you care about.

Under General -> Comments, the options to Show Parent or Show Thread seems to enable the other setting.

When the Show Parents setting is selected, the Show Thread option is actually the one that appears within fly-out that appears when selecting the hamburger menu on comments, and vice versa.

[POSSIBLE ENHANCEMENT REQUEST] I seem to remember when using Boost for Reddit, that when you clicked on Show Parent and the parent comment was shown, there was the ability to click another ^ that would then display that comment's parent, and you could continue doing that until you reached the top of that comment thread. This would be great to have again.

I appreciate the help. It's odd, but when I did that, I didn't see it but did notice it said "Show Thread." I went to the Settings to try selecting that setting instead, and I am now able to see it says "Show Parent," and it actually works as intended.

It must just be that the settings are toggling the other one. Do you know if the Dev takes bug reports somewhere specific?

Hi all, and thanks in advance! As the title states, I can not find the ^ button for showing parent comments even though I have selected the Setting, under General -> Comments.
