And also we super promise that even though we have a bounty of probably millions on our heads right now that we will totally be honest with your extortion transaction and not only not leak your data to the only people (govt agencies) who will care about protecting us, but also we super promise to permanently delete your data. We also super promise to delete our backdoor key to the site-wide auto encryption so any transaction and chat data which already exists will be inaccessible forever.

I’m a climate scientist, and not to give people a looming sense of anxiety but in all honesty you can not really be concerned enough.

There’s nothing we can do to stop climate change now short of literally removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. Not just stop burning fossil fuels, but stop burning fossil fuels and physically suck greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere and sequester them away. Society as we know it is going to change before 2100 as we face climate and thus ecological collapse in large areas of human habitation. Our only other options on the table are learn to live with disastrous climate change or socialism.

Perhaps not more conservative, but more defensive of the status quo by a country mile

I’ve actually never seen or heard of this happening. I thought everybody came up with a brand new joke every time. Will be looking into this further.

The contradictions, folks. They’re sharpening like you wouldn’t believe it. I’ve seen– Nobody understands sharpening contradictions like me, believe me- and Hokey Hochul wants to tell you “they’re gonna keep you safe, they’re gonna keep you safe!” But we know.. Hokey Hochul and the Crooked New York State Dems, they’ll tell you “State sanctioned violence, intimidation, we need it folks.” It’s sad. The Crooked Dems, they’ll tell you. They’re saying “we’re saving you from fascism” but believe me– they’re just as fascist as the republicans. Maybe even more fascist. People are saying “they’re using state violence to fight those opposed to state violence.” and it’s true folks. It’s unbelievable really. Unbelievable. They do it and they don’t even realize it and it sharpens the contradictions. And if they keep sharpening contradictions they’re gonna be big time losers– big time. Believe me. Just like the Czar. Remember the Czar? Huge loser, we all know it. Lenin said “the indissoluble oneness of the tsar and the people and the oneness of the people and the tsar, it’s a load of crap” and he’s right. Just like the Loser Czar, the Crooked New York Dems and Hokey Hochul are saying that their power is representative of the people, not over them.. It’s sad.

yeonmi-park In capitalist America, fascism is so normalized and the people’s everyday lives are so wrought with violence and that they welcome increasingly fascistic policy with open arms because it feels safer

Removing rocks from the stream bed or stream edge to stack or throw can be aesthetically pleasing, but very damaging to the habitat you remove them from in both the short and long term. In the short term you are altering water currents, potentially speeding up certain areas and slowing down others which not only displaces wildlife in both of those areas, but may result in neither being suitable for habitation. It also creates a cascading effect in water flow, causing sediment to settle in areas of what is now slow flow and increasing erosion in areas of high speed flow. This disturbs the physical environment of the waterway, as well as its chemical (nutrient), chronological (change over time) development, and oxygenation.

In the long term, moving rocks brings about another issue, which is erosion. All waterways are shaped by erosion, and a rule in geology is the bigger the rock, the more force it takes to move. This rule is universal from boulders all the way down to individual clay particles. Your ability as a person to lift an even moderately sized rock has a monumental impact on the dynamics of the waterway. In some areas, a rock that may fit in just the palm of your hand might only be able to be moved by a once in a generation flood event. A stack of 3 or 4 of these rocks removes the equivalent of HUNDREDS of years of potential habitats, oxygen infusion into the water, or accelerates/decelerates the rate of erosion in the area you removed/added the rocks by hundreds of years. Simultaneously, you are impacting the riparian zone (edge of the waterway), an incredibly important habitat for terrestrial, aquatic, and amphibious plant and animal life. Changes erosion at the edge of a stream, river, or lake impact the whole body of water in all of the same ways as listed above.

Knowing when not to intervene is an equally important aspect of being a good steward to your natural environment as knowing when to intervene. Let nature do it’s thing and you’ll have even more beauty to enjoy when you are surrounded by it
