Genocide is bad, but apparently genocide isn't bad enough to take a simple action that will prevent it getting worse.

“If you don’t vote for my guy, regime will fuck Palestinians even harder, do you want more blood on your hands?”

Pathetic argument,

That was literally your argument: https://lemmy.ca/post/28969976/11652757

Never said they would. But realistically you have to acknowledge that a third party candidate has no chance of winning this election. If your only concern is Palastine then not voting for Harris actively makes things worse for the people in Palastine, even if Harris is not doing enough to help them. Your options are bad, or worse.

If you're trying to build support for third party candidates for future elections then don't give me any bullshit about Palastine, because that will not help them in any way.

"I am concerned about the genocide in Palestine, so I am going to take actions that will clearly make things much worse for the people in Palestine because that is the ethical thing to do!"

News that Republicans are actively helping 3rd party candidates so that people voting for them will help Republicans win.

let me keep doing the same thing while expecting a different result 🤡

Says the people who keep voting 3rd party in federal elections and are certain that this time the result will be different.

Stopping for pedestrians at cross walks is correct, but you should never be waving at anyone to go.

When you wave at people to go they are less likely to check that the other lanes are safe for them to cross. You stop and look right at them so they know you see them and wait until they go on their own.

Why did the narcissist cross the road?

They thought it was a boundary.

Democrats benefit from the current system. How many times to hear "Biden may not be great, but you have to vote for him to stop Trump?"

When you're running against the "let's be dictators" party lack of voter choice is an advantage. You don't have to have any policy other than "we won't be dictators" and voters can't hold you accountable for anything without letting the dictator take power.

"innocent people are having their pets eaten! I'm going to help by threatening to bomb the innocent people!"

When driving you are making things more dangerous and less efficient by waving people in. If it is your right of way take it.

Be predictable, not polite.

No one is surprised he did poorly, but I don't think anyone expected him to do "immigrants are eating your pets" levels of bad.

This is a weird one.

I am subscribed to [email protected] When browsing on my phone I can see the thumbnails just fine. When browsing on my desktop ublock origin blocks the thumbnails and avatars, but only from the startrek.website instance, and only when I'm accessing it through Lemmy.ca

If I go directly to startrek.website I can view everything fine, and other instances I am not encountering this issue with. Any idea what might be the cause? I am using Firefox.

I can go to the main page of a Lemmy instance and see whatever is active on that instance at the time, but is there a way to get something like r/all for all federated instances?
