Alfred plus Shortcuts is the perfect combination for taking quick notes. Alternatively there is Raycast which does more or less the same, it just depends on your tastes. Both are great

I have an issue with Notes, it crashes every time I open it. I've tried turning off iCloud sync and turning it back on but it doesn't work. I'm waiting for BD5 to see if it fixes.

That's correct, after three months you can setup your iCloud mail as Apple ID

Esattamente uno dei motivi per cui ho abbandonato Twitter in favore di Mastodon, era diventato la fogna dell’umanità. Non si poteva più discutere di niente senza essere insultati, bloccati o segnalati. Nel fediverso invece ho trovato un ambiente più sereno, costruttivo e rispettoso. Sarà che l’età media è più alta? O forse rimane una cerchia culturalmente più elitaria e con un livello di scolarizzazione perlomeno decente?

Collaboration and location-based reminders continue to be two weak points in my opinion. As for the attachments (images, pdf) I'm not sure they are all that fundamental, however in some cases they would have been useful to me. What is missing is iCloud synchronization, I want my data safe and encrypted, not on someone else's server.
