The 70mph interstates are generally a bit scary because going 75-80 to keep up with traffic just feels too fast and I can feel how much harder it is to control my vehicle compared to going less than 70, plus the engine works noticably harder against the wind to maintain speed.

This very much depends on your vehicle.

"Selfish, self centered motherfuckers" would also describe those in the left lane while not passing with others behind them. No numbers needed. If someone is on your tail in the left lane and the right is open, move right. Everyone is safer, even people dumb enough to go 150, when passers aren't forced to weave between lanes.

Others have already mentioned that this is fusion. But the fact that any nucleus with more than two protons exists at all is interesting. E=mc^2 is a well known equation, but not many people understand it's practical application. If you shove 2 protons and 2 neutrons together to form Helium, the resulting nucleus weighs less than it's constituent pieces. Where'd the lost mass go? It turned into binding energy. The energy necessary to force two positively charged protons to hang out together without flying apart. And this is part of the energy input necessary to fusion things. Conversely, when we break Uranium apart we get a lot of energy. For the same reasons. Which is how current fission reactors work.

If you really find this stuff interesting do some googling related to fission, fusion, mass defect, and binding energy.

If I'm seeing the meter correctly it's about 30 cps or 1800 cpm. If it were at a nuclear plant we would consider it radioactive material and wouldn't let it leave. But it's certainly far below any harmful level. Source: Former Radiation Protection Manager.

It was during the International Hill Climb. I believe the start line and pits is somewhere around the 10K feet mark. I would love to go back and drive it myself.

PDK wasn't available until the 997.2. Older automatics were torque converter style, called Tiptronic.

Took my son, his buddies, and my girlfriend to Pikes Peak. I love my 997, but these cars made me feel inadequate.

Had a brown 90 EX coupe with manual. Eventually swapped to an H22. I miss it.
