They could also be a junkie. I had a friend from HS contact me and when I responded, she said “I have a drug problem and live in a motel and have no money. Could you give me some?” Like point blank, no subtlety at all. I felt bad but blocked her.

Yeah. But there was something sadly realistic about it too, how long it took her to finally realize Roy was not the guy for her. Still, I found the whole Jim and Pam story line boring and bordering on cringey after they dragged it out way too long, realistic or not.
