It also wasn't a hard choice because they also have the lowest music quality too. The only thing Spotify was maybe best with is android auto

Used tunemymusic to migrate everything. Took a few minutes

They also seem to screw over multi room audio systems (with the exception of Sonos) and force people to use their app instead of the native app

I have an 8. Also owned a 7 (but I do lots of hiking and broke the glass on the 7, so couldn't trust the waterproofing anymore, so upgraded).

Why would I give up on their hardware though?

I left Spotify because of Joe Rogan.

Figured they don't have money to pay artists well, but they have millions for a guy I don't care about.

I'm not a fan of Apple, but they seem to pay artists better and also seem to give 2 fs about Joe Rogan.

I don't have Netflix either anymore. Apparently I'm not missing much

What did you call?

You didn't post any reference backing up your claim and now you're giving yourself a pat on the back without actually doing anything. Where have I seen that behaviour before? Hmmm

I needed to google your quote. And I could only find 1 reference.. and it didn't actually have any real references. You made the claim, let's see the reference

The only thing you did was post an opinion in an annoying font. WATCH ME USE ALL CAPS. TALKING IN ALL CAPS MAKES WHAT I'M SAYING ALL TRUE!!!!!!

I thought I'm on lemmy, but apparently, it feels like I'm on Reddit or Facebook

You copied that from https://www.thedailybeast.com/kamala-harris-ag-office-tried-to-keep-inmates-locked-up-for-cheap-labor

And from what I see, they seem to the only ones saying that it has anything to do with cheap Labor. If you can find a real source though that includes court transcripts, I'll believe it

Secondly, non violent offenders could include criminals like Trump and other tax fraud people. Ie. The people who regularly get a free pass. Non violent does not mean innocent. It also includes people who scammed elderly people as an example

What kind of message does that send letting a lot of them loose simply because they are short spaced? They should earn porole

It's entirely reasonable for anyone who cares about the law would fight to enforce sentencing. In fact, lawyers regularly defend people they don't believe are innocent (but the law is the law, and everyone deserves the right to a proper defence)

Also, posting stuff like this in large font is just annoying. It doesn't make it credible, it just makes it bigger

Is that the current right wing attack plan?

You guys are really scraping the barrel these days. I guess calling her corporate is the only thing you have remaining.

She used to be a prosecutor. There's never been any evidence she accepted bribes (she's not Clarence Thomas)

They're not wrong.

The sad part is since Trump, I've found a lot of right wingers are also acting weird.

They're not even trying to be otherwise. Like even stupid stuff like being obsessed with gas stoves and talking absolute nonsense about induction.

They're just all shouting out nonsense hoping it sticks after being inspired by Trump doing the same

Any other NUC 12 Enthusiast users out there. Just wondering if any of you guys are still successfully using it on the latest distro's with ARC support, or whether rebooting still has issues for more than anyone but myself (just picked one of these up the other day, and I suspect there are recent regressions maybe)

I'm considering removing the front fence (which is a criss cross pattern made of wood) at the front of my house (its literally only 1m high, there is no gate, and you can walk around it using the driveway. This would allow me to create a path from my doorway, directly to the footpath, and replace the grass with Trees native shrubs and flowers. I'd then grow a small hedge where the fence was.

Just wondering whether the fence adds any real value to the property, if I replace it with a hedge anyway?
