@[email protected] the more manual the setting the more you control what you get f stop for portraits (including cat ones) should be set low - a scene though set it higher so everything is in focus

@[email protected] what's lowest f stop on it? if set to max can get blurred backgrounds

@[email protected] As a photographer said "the best zoom is your legs" Primes are great unless your legs can't get you there then use a zoom
