3DOF to 2D Conversion Style, also known as Gyro Space, is an option on converting from the Motion Sensor/Gyro's three degrees of freedom over to 2D output (i.e. which axes get used to output to mouse or joystick). As part of the New Gyro overhaul: Gyro Turning Axis has repurposed into a Gravity Vector-based Axis system that includes Local Space, Player Space and World Space.

If you happened to play games on Consoles (like in Fortnite, Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, Deathloop and No Man's Sky): you most likely experienced it.

If you like to know more about Gyro Space: I'll highly recommend Jibb Smart's Player Space Gyro explanation

Welcome to Gyro Gaming community, where Players and Developers can share their passion for Gyro Controls in Video Games.

Preferred platform or controller of your choice, you're welcome to Discuss about gyro, Submit your Steam Input or JoyShockMapper Config, Share videos about Gyro Aiming, Informing us of new Gyro Features or post silly memes.

As we're slowly preparing stuffs for this Lemmy.world thingin in wake of the "blackout" on another website, I'm still learning the ropes of this alternative, but do expect this subreddit to get up and ready soon.

For now: please follow the same rules as the Reddit version of Gyro Gaming subreddit.
