Example:

If I'm on lemmy.sdf.org, I'd like to be able to view lemmy.ml's "front page"

Likewise, if I was on lemmy.ml, and I find a post I wanted to comment on, is there a way I can get a link to that post localized to lemmy.sdf.org?

If you visit their homepage. You can fetch your local post if you take that url from their homepage and paste it in the search page of your instance.
