Uploading a picture directly to endlesstalk (self.issues)

I just thought I try to create a new post with a picture.

On New, it only offers me a URL option (no upload) On Old, it says: Post "https://./pictrs/image": dial tcp: lookup . on 10.43.0.10:53: no such host. there doesn't seem to be anything here

It'll let me do if I just go the endlesstalk.org (no frontend) though. This was what I was testing.

It's on New that I'd really like to be able to use to do it though.

Sorry for the late answer.

It doesn't work on New, since it hasn't been added to the source yet at alexandrite.

It should work on Old, so I will look into it, when I have time. Currently on vacation, so might take a few days.

Just happened across this post. If anyone's curious, it hasn't been added to Alexandrite because I'm waiting for this Lemmy issue on Github to get fixed so I can upload images without having to proxy them through Alexandrite's server. But as soon as that's done image uploading will be my top priority.

After looking at the mlmym code(for way too long) I finally managed to figure out why the image upload doesn't work.

I have fixed it on old.endlesstalk.org and it should work now.
