I was thinking Dyer's Polypore (Phaeolus schweinitzii). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaeolus_schweinitzii - and yeah, kinda hard to tell as it's pretty small.

I've wanted to use this one for dying, but haven't 'gotten around to it', yet.
Yeah if it is a polypore it's still a baby.
