Virus Total Link

Compiled on RVX Builder with latest RVX patches and integrations. Remember the best way to get the ReVanced apks are to compile them yourself, but if you are unable to do that yourself, you can use my builds. I simply use the manager and compile as soon as new updates become available, but this process elicits implicit trust. Hope this helps!

I noticed one thing in this release, or rather the downloaded file, i wanted to ask you about.

the virustotal link you provided is a different one than the actual file produces.

i downloaded https://qiwi.gg/file/gjnC3586-driftysRVXv18

and uploaded the file to virustotal. it's hash was different, and it reuploaded the file for a fresh analysis.

what happened here, how is it that the file i got from qiwi.gg is a different hash than your link to virustotal.

while analysis says its save. could it be that qiwi tampered the file in some way?

Ah shit I forgot to update the virus total link.

Here's what happened - I made multiple builds of this version due to some patches that I forgot to include in the initial builds but in a hurry I'd already uploaded the first build on virustotal (which is the link I put in the release without thinking) but I only uploaded the fixed build on Qiwi because of which their hashes are different. Apologies for the inconveniences, I'll update the link to the one you have mentioned.

Big oversight on my part, won't happen again and thank you for trusting me enough to think Qiwi could be the bad actor.

EDIT:- I have now updated the Virus Total link, thank you for pointing this out to me.

P.S. This is my account on the sopuli instance (which I use for normal Lemmy) and I only use my lemmy.ml account to post releases since many people from Mastodon follow me on that account to get updates and it would spam them if I just used Lemmy normally there.

I, and very many others, are so happy that you provide us with feature complete builds, i can't find the words to express how grateful all of us are.

I believe in a strong community of like minded people, where everyone can attribute, to the best of their capabilities, even a small part (like me, with the hash of the build) to make a save and consistent experience for all users.

These will solve a lot of your issues and I recommend going through them even if you don't have any problems.

The original patches and integrations on the official Youtube APK (which I download from APKMirror), are from the repos (revanced-patches & revanced-integrations) linked here https://github.com/revanced but I use the modified version by YT-Advanced who offers some more customisations while compiling, the source code of which are available on the repos linked on their Github profile.

ONLY the Github repos, and any websites linked there are official, trust NOTHING else if you're looking to compile yourself.
