successfully failed at ignoring!

Successfully failed is such a funny statement πŸ˜… (do emojis work?)

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

did they work? Can't just leave us hanging in your testing here πŸ€”

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

You should do this in a smaller community where less people will see your testing. Alternatively, maybe [email protected]?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Please post your results from the test. Remember, the difference between screwing around and science is writing it down.

Test Post was successful, I was able to create a text post with 100% accuracy on my sample size of 1.

Bonus, I learned how mentions work but is not easily integrated with my own environment of Jerboa for lemmy.

Instructions unclear. Am I supposed to ignore the post entirely, or just your instructions to ignore the post?

Test comment, please ignore

How did you get Lemmy to 'boost this'? This is showing up in my Calckeys, but not the new post I just made. I'm so confused!

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What do you mean by boost?

What is Calckeys? An app for fediverse like Jerboa?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It's a separate type of Fediverse instance based on Misskey. Connectivity with Lemmy seems, uh.. dicey.. but somewhat functional!

You can’t tell me what to do!

So, how's everyone's day been?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hmm. Maybe you should have tried a smaller community.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It was a test and at the same time a joke if you were an old member of the not to be named website.

Mods (do we have mods here in fediverse) can take down the post if it's a problem.

Yes we do.

The mention worked, How'd you do it? did you just clicked my name or something to get my username? What app are you using?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

@[email protected]

I'm on Calckey. When I reply to your posts in my feed it automatically adds it in, or I can manually type it. Here, check it out.

I don't think Jerboa has that feature, unfortunately.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Well Jerboa is a Lemmy-focused app, some of the functionality is different. Like, for me Communities get followed like Users, and I've got this whole other category called Channels.

Calckey is a lot more like Mastodon, but it's got some really neat unique features and a feel of its own.
