Automaton Spider was the core of my team, it's increasing speed means it eventually is taking 4 turns per enemy turn. This is broken in combination with the Attack Interception expansion. The other expansion I went with was Computation Lock for a free 75% attack.

The overlord unit I used was the Aurumaton Gatekeeper. If you equip it with Saturated Activation and Sudden Injection then on its first turn it can debuff all enemies and massively delay two of them, this gives Spider the time it needs to ramp.

I used Bubbles for sustain, their damage doesn't matter so I equiped them with Firewall and Safe Mode for 100% increased health to empower their heals and soak. I gave them Functional Overdraft so they can heal significantly more often. And since they take their turn frequently they are holding Deep Clean for team cleanse.

My last unit wasn't as important to the team as the other three, but it was a Silvermane Cannoneer. They will always get their max follow ups off if they use skill on Aurumaton turn one and then switch to Spider after that. Their ult can be used to give Aurumaton two energy so that it can do it's AoE Impair -> Sanction Mode -> Imprison combo immediately after leaving Sanction Mode which is very powerful. Backstage Enhancement is great damage for them and Efficiency Optimization let's them always have ult on time.

The Morale Activation expansion is incredibly powerful with this team as every unit is taking multiple actions for every enemy action. I had Aurumaton hold it but any unit on the team could hold it really.

If this team survives just a couple cycles it's basically unkillable, and that is not hard to do with the massive debuffs from Aurumaton and sustain from Bubbles.

Interested in hearing about other people's teams in this event as I'm sure there are many powerful combinations.

I Used Aurumaton Gatekeeper as overlord with Saturated Activation and Efficiency Optimization because of Cannoneers ult.

To support my Gatekeeper, i add Silvermane Cannoneer, to do a follow up attack on each gatekeeper attack and each of it's summoned units. My Cannoneer got High Load-Low Speed, just to rise the attack of each follow up attack, speed wasn't important that much. With the ult the of the cannoneer the gatekeepper was able to summon another 2 units.

Bubbles to heal, with a few chip that rise hp.

My 4th unit has always changes, haven't find the perfect one. Sometimes Imaginary Weaver, to just do dmg. Sometimes the Dragonfish to make even more Dots. And sometimesWooden Lupus to make advantage of the Dot on the enemies from the Dragonfish of the Gatekeeper.

I haven't tried out the Spider, maybe that would be the perfect last spot on my team. But there are a bit similarities in our approace.

Trotter, Aurumaton (overlord), Silvermane Cannoneer, and the Fish.

Silvermane Cannoneer opens by buffing the fish with his skill, and he has the trinket that lets him attack a second time, which enables his ultimate, which buffs the fish again.

Aurumaton has the trinket that gives him starting energy, so that he can use his ultimate first round too. He uses his skill to weaken all enemies, then uses his ult to CC the biggest damage dealer on the other team.

The fish, of course, uses the trinket that buffs ATK while disabling the useless ultimate.

Trotter has the trinket that removes debuffs.

The aurumaton's crowd control is intended to let the team survive long enough for the fish's mass DoT (buffed by the cannoneer, and reinforced by the aurumaton's own fish) to reach critical mass. The main danger would be if the opponent has debuffs cleansers, but I haven't run across that so far.

It would be interesting to explore teams that don't have the pig, which is seriously OP. If the opponents had healers similar to the pig, this minigame would be way harder.

Early on I was using the Silvermane Lieutenant instead for their follow up damage, but I found them lacking when you really needed to target down a specific enemy and the enemies had more damage potential. Where the trotter does what it does so well that it's worth the fourth slot in pretty much any team. You could do away with any healing if you could kill the enemy fast enough, though I believe the enemy units have more health so it might be difficult.

I don't think the enemy getting a trotter would be too bad. it's really easy to make teams that ramp absurdly though Morale and specific units like Spider and Frigid Prowler, or teams that quickly target down a single unit with units like the Voidrangers. It would be limiting to team composition and make AoE somewhat worthless though.
