Lol, efforts? What efforts? What the actual fuck are you talking about, PBS? Are the efforts to curb climate change in the room with us right now?
People behave as if they totally missed Russia story.
Converting to green energy can hardly proceed in recession triggered by oil price shock, so this is necessary.
The demand is gonna be whatever the demand is gonna be. Would you rather the supply be from the United States (with some of the lowest per barrel extracted emissions) or from Russia?
But why is gas so expensive then, it's been over $6 in California
Probably because oil exports are high. And prices are up significantly around the globe. Why make gas cheaper for your country when you can make more money overseas?
