To keep up with what’s posted on the trackers y’all use, is there any automatic option other than web scraping and/or api usage (if the tracker offers one)?

I’ve just made my first program to essentially be able to get anything I want, automatically or by request, on a tracker I’m part of, and was just curious if this is how y’all do it. Honestly before doing this I didn’t really do much research on how others might do it, and since I have experience with web scraping and such I kinda just dove into it.
