Also posted this in the windows sub but figured posting here would be better off. I was just working in FL studio when my laptop started cutting out and the screen said "locking" then shut down completely out of nowhere. I presume the laptop overheated and haven't tried rebooting it yet, but my question is if the laptop shuts down in this manner is it safe to remove the hard drive without loss/corruption of data? Also would it be risky to boot with the external drive still plugged in? Any help would be greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ™
