Hi, I have my laptop files backed up on an encrypted 2TB Samsung T9 Portable SSD, utilizing about 100 GB at this time. Most files are going to be below 10 MB. A few perhaps several hundred MB.

I created a complete backup to SSD a few months ago. However now I want to renew my backup.

Is there an effective method to only modify the changes, so as to avoid having to overwrite all the data or having to manually sort through old files?

Note: I'm also syncing my desktop with Google Drive as a cloud backup, and as a way to get things from my phone to my desktop. It's convenient but I'm also open to alternatives which better respect privacy. Ideally I'd like synchronization across desktop, laptop, cloud, and these periodic backups on SSD.
