It doesn’t make any sense. He was nice to her and interested in her research. None of it made sense and she was probably just confused but how did she come to the conclusion that he was mocking her.

People said she was insecure and assumed she got made fun of it in the past. But why would people make fun of her for that???

That part just never made sense to me
