Is it safe to close the tab when uploading to archive.org? (zerobytes.monster)

I am uploading a 10GB collection to the archive.org, and obvioustly, I can't left the tab opened for the day or so. If I close the tab I started upload from, will that abort it? If yes, then what's the way to speed up the upload?
