I'm setting up my brand new (just got it on Christmas) Kobra 3 Combo, and while I'm setting it up I am also installing accessories and upgrades to it. It's not my first 3d printer, so I know the brass nozzle would need to be replaced eventually anyway (because it is a consumable part that is user replacable) so I opt to install a steel one while I'm setting it up.
However, it turns out the factory used thermal cement (the same that is used to hold the heater element and temperature probe in the hotend) to permanently glue the brass nozzel into the hotend, so when I went to try to unscrew it, it snapped off the tip of the nozzle.
Who the hell thought it was a good idea to A. Glue in a part that has to be replaced after a certain amount of use? And B. Doesn't put a warning in the instructions to at least let you know that they did something that stupid, so you would know you need to replace the entire hotend because just the nozzle is no longer replacable? Which is what I have to do now. Had to pay to get one next day delivery from Amazon, because who knows how long it would take to get a replacement shipped by the company, and even if they did ship me another one, it might have the nozzle glued in as well.
FYI, I have a Kobra 2 Neo from the same company, and have replaced the nozzle on that one a few times, it was NOT glued in place by the factory,
