I cant decide which to use, I noticed a couple of things.

  • Cinebench 2024 seems to reward higher memory speeds which may or may not be desirable.
  • Cinebench r23 seems to be more focused on CPU only based results which for me is usually my favourite.
  • Cinebench 2024 scores on Apple chips have insane single core performance that is not reflected in the R23 benchmark. For example, M4 chip scores a stunning 52% better score compared to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in Cinebench 2024 but that is not reflected in other benchmarks for example not a big fan of Geekbench 6 due to the varity of tasks it now tests (including AI which I couldnt care less) shows a smaller 33% lead and Cinebench R23 shows a 3% difference. I dont know what to believe here!
