I'm trying to disable the display of my laptop with the following cli:

xrandr --output LVDS-1 --off

However, instead of disabling the display, the laptop is rebooting.

Any idea what might be happening?

  • CPU: Intel Pentium 2020M
  • Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12.8
