Hello peeps. I've been steadily chipping away at a new build after being out of the loop for 10 years.

Can I get some advice on the following fan setup idea I have in my head.

Currently have or getting: - Corsair 7000D airflow case. - a modern MSI ATX board, - modern AMD processor, - currently installed a 3070 Ti which will become a 4090/5090, - currently installed a noctua NH-D15 but once new GPU is installed then system will become properly water cooled.

After days and days looking for what I think might fit fan and radiator wise and constantly measuring internals in the case I decided to do the following:

  • Remove the front dust filter (its not a filter, its just a mesh)

Image shows pointing at the reversed front fan frame mount piece.

  • Turn around the the front fan mounting bracket. This allows more space on the inside of the case at the front, & allowing the insertion of 3x140x15mm Silverstone AirSlimmer fans between the front case triangular mesh and the fan frame mounting bracket. Then behind the reversed fan frame bracket, I will be able to install a 140x420x30mm radiator from? I'm sure I found a 20mm version of this from Barrow or someone but cant find it now. And then behind that install another 3x140x15mm Silverstone AirSlimmer fans. Reasoning for the Silverstone Air slimmers is because they are a reasonable priced & locally sourced, have the ARGB and daisy chainable features I want, I've seen some good reviews of them and they allow me to have a push/pull arrangement on the front radiator without having to obstruct the side arrangement and without having to step down to a 120mm width.

  • Then on the side have a 120x480x20mm barrow radiator on the inside of its fan mount bracket and then on the inside face of the radiator have 4x120 Silverstone Air slimmer fans so as again not to interfere with the front arrangement and to now keep the Silverstone them going. If I'm feeling grunge I might then go and add another 4x120 Silverstone Airslimmer fans to the outside external side door of the case to create another push/pull arrangement there. I like the idea of Frankenstein builds.

  • Then on top under the case roof I can fit another push pull arrangement with 2x140 Silverstone Airslimmer fans pushing up into an equivalent 30mm or 20mm if I think I can find it thick radiator into another 2x140 Silverstone Airslimmer fans extracting. I'm aware it will obstruct the top holes in the case but there is about 10mm left for those top fan & PCIe cables.

  • Then I can have another 140mm Silverstone Airslimmer fan on the back vent (needs to be slim again to not obstruct the visuals of the MSI dragon). And here is where it gets more silly if it hasn't already. I am then thinking to have some hard line tubing penetrate the back of the case above the back fan and coil its way around behind the back fan and then reenter the case and find its way back to the first or only reservoir. Internal piping I'm actually wanting to be soft tubing to look like arteries or something similar, but when outside it should be hard line.

What do people think of the idea to use all the silverstone slim fans for the preventing of interference of perpendicular radiators etc?
