Die Hard: Bruce Willis was 33 years old in 1988. This was way tougher than I expected, but I'd recast him with Daniel Kaluuya, who's the same age, has the same everyman quality, and has the same capacity for anger and intensity and "I don't want to be here"-ness. He's also one of the few actors I can see pulling off "yippee ki-yay, motherf****r."

Elf: I don't know if it's possible to recast Will Ferrell.
