Hello. I bought my first 3D printer a month ago and immediately started to learn to design models in Fusion 360. Yesterday, I downloaded a model from Makerworld. It's an electric toothbrush holder. Unfortunately, it didn't fit my toothbrush.

I liked the design so I opened up Fusion and remade the model from scratch, with the necessary modifications to fit my toothbrush. The overall shape of the base (a rounded rectangle with a chamfer) is identical to the model I downloaded from Makerworld, albeit my recreation. The other parts obviously differ to accommodate my toothbrush.

What is the etiquette here? Can I upload my model to Makerworld? Would it be considered a remix or a new model? Would be it considered rude or unethical? I don't mind keeping my model for myself but I figured someone out there might find it useful.
