When I calculate the cost of 1 8tb HDD (excluding the cost of the PC & internet), a 5 year lifespan using 10w of electricity - I can expect to pay $7/m to self host.

Are there any cloud storage providers that are a decent alternative for around the same price?

I don't need redundancy, enterprise reliability or anything fancy. Would likely connect it to Plex via rclone or similar FUSE mount

Mega.nz is ~$17/m AWS S3 is $50/m Google Drive is ~$70/m ($26/m for 5TB)
