I'm seeking advice on transitioning my Docker media center to a dedicated Beelink mini PC and storage strategy.

Currently running a prototype Docker stack (arr apps, qbittorrent, jellyfin, etc) on a MacBook. Planning to move to a Linux-based Beelink that'll run 24/7 from my home office.

Storage requirements:

  • Approximately 2-3 TB needed -No long-term media hoarding
  • No complex backup strategy required
  • Budget around $100s not $1000s

Any recommendations for drive types or mounting strategies? Any specific drive recommendations? Potential Docker/Jellyfin mounting or integration challenges to be aware of?

Generally would love some recommendations from those who've done similar builds. Thanks in advance!
