Around 3 days ago, I installed kickstart 2 from G-MEH and everything seemed fine at first, I used the plugin with no issues. However yesterday, someone remotely accessed my pc and my screen started flashing frantically and my mouse began to move around, shaking vigorously. I immediately spammed ALT F4 and shut down the computer. Immediately turned off my router and booted windows into safe mode.
At that point, I deleted all the GMEH files and backed up my important files again. Then, I restarted into normal startup and quickly installed malwarebytes. I did a scan and all it detected was 10 PUPs named HKLM SOFTWARE. I removed the files and shut down the pc again. Nothing has happened since then but I am still pretty paranoid. I didn't download any sketchy files except the plugin and I am not sure what to do. Overall, if you ask me, don't use G-MEH to install cracked plugins.
