When did desk booze go out of style? Or was that ever a thing? I remember old TV shows where the boss would always have a small bar in their desk drawer. I want to go to there.

Rules:
- All DubVee instance rules apply. See the sidebar at https://dubvee.org/. Those are pretty comprehensive, so we don't really need to add much to those.
- No politics outside of what's referenced on the show. Let's leave that drama elsewhere since there's plenty of it.
- All posts must be 30 Rock related or adjacent. You dummies are awesome, so I don't think I've ever had to mod any posts for this, but codifying it for good measure.
- Less a rule and more of a guideline, but please try to provide alt text if your instance + client combination support it. If not, then please try to make an effort to provide a description of any image posts in the post body. Let's be an a11y when we can :)
- Don't make fun of people for misusing dated cultural references. Are we all cowabunga on this?
- No talking about Krang. It would be a waste of time to talk about Krang on ~~television~~ the internet.
Ex chef had fucking absinthe in his drawer when I cleaned it out. He was not trying to be there lmao
Oh wow. My only restaurant experience is working in a diner right out of high school. This one guy, who was the lead cook, would huff paint in his car before coming in and on breaks. I dunno where he was trying to be, but it wasn't anywhere on this plane of existence. 😆
My fuckyoumoney mansion has a library with a bar in a globe.
The globe bars actually aren't all that expensive. My husband joked about wanting one for the den so I looked them up on Amazon. They were only like $150 or so. Not sure if they're as good quality as was pictured, but the reviews on it was pretty positive.
Yeah, but I feel you need to build a room around it to really get the full impact. Lots of expansive wood, bookcasea with movable ladders, comfy chairs, big windows overlooking a lake or mountain or something
It is still a thing. Though ours was always in drawer under an out-of-the-way cubicle.
Maybe I'm just not cool enough to know where the stash is in my office 😂 😞
No one gets business drunk anymore??
Right? I feel like my meeting presentations would go a lot better if the audience was at least a little tipsy.
You could always just sabotage a gas line in the building instead
Wasn't expecting to find a good life pro tip this far down, but I'll take it.
replaced with desk pops
