Any time I went to an interview with these kinds of jobs they were based on commission. Which is crap IMO.

This describes a server, bartender, entrepreneur, consultant, or salesperson. It's not unique or unheard of. It's also far from dystopian.

The dystopian part is where it tells you the "correct" answer to a question about personal preference.

I mean, or it could be one of those high school aptitude tests where they try to figure out how to guide you in your future career. If someone picked an unstable career, it makes sense to follow up with the realities of it.

Idk about you guys, but they did this shit with me and my classmates back in the 90s and early aughts.

It's an out of context image that has no other presence on the web aside from the memes, so it's likely just rage bait bullshit.

In some parts of the world, the first two aren't tipped so income varies less. You're not going to get as many shifts in the off-season, I guess.

I'd argue that jobs with uncertain hours or poor notice should have an automatic +50% minimum wage modifier on them.

It is dystopian to expect people to be fine with unreliable means of living while billionaires exist.

If you're fine with it you are just part of the dystopia.
