I’m super excited about Lemmy and the potential this community has to scale/grow. Major props to ThrowRA for getting this up and running! My experience on here’s been pretty smooth, but for the people transitioning from Reddit who are used to having an app, you can mimic that experience down below.
On an iPhone, you can add websites to your home screen using Safari. Pull up the website https://lemmy.whynotdrs.org/ and press the Share button on the bottom-middle. I highlighted it here:
Select “Add to Home Screen”
Enter the name you’d like to call it
And finally, it should appear on your screen just like any other app
I was able to login and create posts from this “app” (technically a bookmark), but if you run into any issues please comment down below and I’ll try to help.
