How do you casually and informally call someone's attention?

Here in the #Philippines, in particular the #Filipino and #Tagalog languages, it's "hoy" / "oi". (The very rude version is "psst" or some bad word.)

Your turn. ๐Ÿ™‚

@youronlyone

Way of getting attention in Australia
(It's inevitably very regional)

"Oi": Peasanty (Bogan)
"Excuse me": Insufferable twat
"Oi cunt!": Friendly when amongst associates, hostile when random
"Hey" or "Hey Mate": General Middle, lower class

@n_[email protected] Thank you for sharing! ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿฝ Definitely something to be aware of, especially the third one. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿค” If a foreigner use any of those, is there a curious or negative reaction? I mean, regardless if the foreigner is a tourist or already living in Australia.
