Thanks so much to the dev team and everyone who contributed, the app is shaping up to be really nice and feature-rich.
Memmy - An iOS client for Lemmy
swipe back and subscriber count in the search are the excellent improvements! π
Hey dev team! Thank you so much for the updates. Use Memmy on the daily basis.
Now that Lemmy grows, I as a mod really need to get good mod tools on mobile apps. Such as a pushnotification on new entries in modmail. I'm fully aware that you guys are busy enough but is there maybe a update on when this can/will be implemented?
For example, now I need to manual check the mobile version of the website, go to modmail and moderate from there. If there is a is a comment section with 100+ comments, it is a huge hassle to find and delete the comment.
Getting the better context menus going was a huge first step. Plan on doing mod tool stuff this week ππ
Awesome! Looking forward to it, thanks.
Awesome work! Probably wouldn't even be on Lemmy if it wasnt for this great app!
Same, came over from Apollo and Reddit. I have Voyager, but idk what it is about this app I just absolutely love it.
This isnβt important but this post should be stickied, and the posts for the out of date updates should be unstickied.
Thanks for all the work!
I agree. Itβs a small, but important change.
I actually really liked that the app had a dedicated tab for communities (Traverse). Iβm sad to see it going away, I never liked swiping for the subreddits in Apollo.
Well weβd like to make some things customizable, so that very well could be one of them.
For the record Iβm actually with you on that, which is why Iβm interested in seeing how we can get the best of both worlds π
Will the feed selection (All/Local/Subscribed) be saved between app restarts? I really donβt want gonewild (or other NSFW content) posts from All to be at the top of the feed when Iβm launching the app in public. I always have to switch to Subscribed manually right now
You can set a default sort option in the settings.
Settings > Content > Default Listing Type
Didnβt know that - thanks!
I agree, everything is really nice, but it would be even better if it saved that I was on the subscribed part. Thanks for the work!
Keep up the great work! The app has become zo much more polished in just a month's time!
Perfect! + 100 for the long press actions
Good stuff, still holding out on 'scroll past to mark read' for lazy browsing :)
Thank you so much for making such an awesome app and giving such timely updates! Iβd gotten used to the traverse menu, was starting to really like it
Is this going to be a TestFlight update first or both TestFlight and App Store? Thanks for the great work on this!
Memmy has been such a good experience in the short time itβs been around, and I hope it only gets better from here. Thanks dev team!
Congratz on the release and thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Congrats, and thank you! πͺπ»
Thanks for the update and improvements.
Fyi, Hide NSFW still doesnβt work. Would really appreciate if this was fixed.
Thank you for your teamβs hard work! Loved this update
Love the new swipe back feature, such a convenient feature to not have to reach across the screen, thanks!
Looks like the new update did slow down the app smoothness though, Iβm no longer scrolling the app at full refresh rate and stutters are occurring during scroll and when pulling out community drawer. But, I know everything is a work in progress and itβs really shaping up!
Great update. Love that the subscriptions seem to be cached or preloaded.
One thing I noticed is there is extra space below the bottom bar (at least on my iPhone 8).
Love what youβve done with the app! Amazing work - itβs super cool to see how fast this has come almost out of the blue. Out of curiosity - with the changes to the image viewer, do you anticipate to support long pressing to open the options menu, in addition to tapping on the icon at the bottom right?
Thank you so much for the updates, and thank you for also listening to the users and implementing the suggested changes so quickly! I donβt know if and where this may have been asked, but do you anticipate the need to raise any funding? I know so many people are against the monetization if apps and stuff, but do you have any plans for those who want to contribute?
