We all know how reliable Ninebot Max/G30 is but it lacks a bit of power and range. Original batteries are probably something like 60 x 2600mAh, but there have been 3500mAh for ages with same 18650 form. This change alone would give about 33% more range. If they would ditch internal charger which is just for convenience and surely not needed anymore with increased range, there would be enough space to fit about double capacity compared to original with those 3500mAh batteries. Weight increase would be minimal because internal charger is gone. Maybe 1-2 kg at most. Then there would be truly enough juice to give a more powerful motor for hills something like what G2 has.

Do you think that they would ever do this to keep good portability and reliability or is the trend that everything is overdone and overpriced, if you want more than 500Wh battery capacity which can drive an adult about 40 km at 25 km/h in typical conditions .
