I mean even reddit is niche enough for Indonesian, and we don't even promote this site anywhere, and don't forget that most internet user is a silent reader they rarely post something. When you combine even just these problems the website will feel emtpy bcs there's not enough people to generate content. And also lemmy "hype" kinda died down. I'll still run this site tho as long as I can pay it.

TBH, the hype is gone. And most of us don't want to start an un-useful thread. So... that...

Edit: I did not read other comments when writing this, so I just realized that all of the comment say that "the hype is gone"... LoL. Let's start a meaningful discussion, guys...

untuk konten lokal, gw merasa di lemmy sangat kurang. konten yang dimaksud bukan sekedar membut thread saja, tetapi juga percakapan atau diskusi di dalam threadnya. untuk konten lokal, gw memilih untuk tetep pake reddit untuk membaca konten2 dari r/indonesia dan r/finansial.

tetapi di luar itu, gw rasa konten lemmy cukup up-to-date untuk komunitas2 di luar. jadi ya, lebih banyak baca dan diskusi di luar saja. tetapi, saya pribadi memang berencana untuk membuat thread bahasa indonesia meskipun yang baca atau balas nantinya sedikit ataupun hampir tidak ada
