I still have cable at home, which is miserable but I use Net253 at work and it's been excellent so far. I don't think I've experienced any downtime yet.

Thank you for your response! That's helpful. Out of curiosity, do you know what speed your job gets? ~~I heard through the grapevine that KPUD's infrastructure handles up to 100Gbps, so there seems to be a range of speeds that I might be able to get.~~
Edit: talked to Net253, according to them KPUD does offer up to 25G, but it's not a residential offering and it's roughly $2500/month! Hopefully with the recent happenings around Google Fiber and Ziply that can come down in price eventually.
We're just getting symmetric gigabit with 2ms latency to Seattle (from Bainbridge Island).
