Heard it was DDoS attacks, which seems pretty likely.
Another benefit to using a smaller instance (or hosting your own), you don't have to worry about this stuff

Hopefully they don't try to mess with Beehaw, y'all are too nice :)

ha, i went to check wefwef app when i woke up, updated it like ok that was why. no content after. realizing I'm enjoying the lemmy/kbin stuff now and would be sad without it. i try to browse reddit but I don't want to waste my time there. I enjoy being a part of these cutting edge projects.

Normally I check lemmy.ml when lemmy.world is down. It was fine in the attack that also took down lemmy.blahaj.zone, so I guess I thought it was more secure because it is The Tech Instance. I'm sad it let me down this time lol
