Looks like a slow worm or Kopparödla in Swedish
I just found this community, which was one of my favorite ones on Reddit. I’m glad to see we have experts in here too!
So did I. This is the first post I've seen from this community. And I'm also a Reddit migrant.
That looks right, so I'm marking the thread solved.
The fellow is upside down.
In Sweden there are only three snakes: The smooth snake/Hasselsnok, the grass snake/Snok and the adder/Hug(g)orm.
The Snok is a bright one.
Not upside down - this is a juvenile, and they have these markings. Females may retain them, but adult males will lose the darker markings.
Slow worms are legless lizards rather than snakes. They have eyelids, unlike snakes, for example.
The fellow is upside down.
Maybe 'es from Australia.
Yep that would also be my guess.
