😮 that's awesome! Looking forward to more pictures from you!
I’ll try! We’re in the main grandstand today so it’s difficult to get a good snap while they’re zooming by!
It's hot, right? How's that going? And logistics and the like?
Enjoy, so cool! Great seats
We’re in the shade but it’s hot in the direct sun. High was around 85F, it’s now dropping. Last year was much hotter…95 or so, I don’t think we left our seats the entire time.
Many cars were having a tough time last night in practice one; I think the repaved track was cooler than expected and there wasn’t enough grip yet. We saw several spin outs, both Mercs and Albon.
Norris the lock up nooooooooo
Not thrilled to see Max back in the effortless winning ways as I had hoped to be delusionally hanging on to the title fight the rest of the season for personal enjoyment.
That notwithstanding, what a great sprint. COTA is just a top, top track. So much thrilling wheel-to-wheel action, this was the perfect return after the long break. Hoping for an even more action packed race tomorrow with strategy coming into play too. Even with the new tarmac the track should be fairly demanding on the tires so could be some interesting strategies tomorrow (I hope).
Ferraris look good for tomorrow
19 laps in the sprint! Can't wait.
Albon to have a pitlane start for changes to car during parc ferme.
