Germany has approved the start of technical talks for the sale of the Eurofighter fighter jet to Türkiye.A technical team from Germany, the UK, Spain, and Italy has arrived in Turkiye for discussions expected to last around three weeks. The talks cover various technical details, including procurement steps, personnel training, and maintenance programs. If Germany gives final approval after these talks, Turkiye will initially purchase 24 Eurofighter jets, with the total potentially reaching 40 in later stages.
