Two British reccs fore you: Peep Show and Alan Partridge. Both are genius, as in constantly hilarious throughout with no gaps.

If you like IT Crowd, then Black Books is for you. One of the best comedies of that era. Start with the Grapes of Wrath Episode.
Peep Show is also great.
Deadloch, Class of 07, Psych, Ash vs Evil Dead, A Touch of Cloth
I’m absolutely loving “What We Do In The Shadows”
Older shows I still rewatch include Community and Psych. Both are absolutely extraordinary.
Psych is my all time favorite show. I don't think Community stands a chance but that's just my opinion.
I think they’re still in the middle of making the fourth Psych movie.
"Nirvana the band the show" is probably my favorite comedy show of all time, and barely anyone knows about it.
Before they made the tv show they had a web series that made this gem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_qnI1WrlnU
Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/watch?v=B_qnI1WrlnU

I'm open-source, check me out at GitHub.
I feel like you'd like Ted Lasso, also second the users who've said Ghosts (both US and UK).
Ted Lasso is amazing. The recent episodes are a bit different, I'm interested in the development of the show with the direction their heading on.
I think the tone is really reminiscent of stuff like Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill or Love Actually. Even though it got a bit more sad this season, it's very wholesome and easy to watch.

Trial & Error (freaking amazing)
only season 1, season 2 was terrible and I'm glad it got the show cancelled
Kevin Can Fuck himself sounds like an interesting show.
It's freaking amazing. Hooked me right away
Just tried out an episode. It's a little too dark for me.
Well hopefully some of the other shows can fulfill what you're looking for! I highly recommend trial & error to everyone I run into.
I tried Trial & Error. Didn't really like it. However, I have been liking Veep so far. It reminds me of a more friendly The Thick Of It.

Took up your suggestion for The Goldbergs and it seems like a pretty good show. Thanks for the recommendation.
Ghosts (the US version)
How can you say this, when that version doesn't have Charlotte Richie in it. Not even once!
But it's got Rose McIver in it and she's great (sidenote iZombie also let her show she's got a LOT of range)
