If you couldn't figure out what Trump is in 8 years, then you're either a fucking moron or just an evil asshole who is after personal benefits.
My mother still thinks he’s basically harmless. We have a no politics rule because his first term nearly made me cut her out of my life.
That might be the right way to deal with someone who supports ending democracy.
This is basically the same for me. During covid my parents driftet into the conspiracy theories and never got out(tbf I also kinda got into that shit, but somehow got out of it, a bit after it was undeniable, that the vaccination was safe). After about 1.5 years of constant discussions they stopped talking about that shit in my presence because nobody of us liked the constant fights. Nowadays I also always try to stay away from their "friends" (they now almost exclusively have social interactions with other conspiracy theorists), because its much healthier for me to not be forced to listen to their dumb bullshit.
Sadly the world is full of morons. As the late, great George Carlin said:
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I don’t understand how military people support republicans. It’s their faults we lost so many children in the Middle East. As well as their fault for how little we are taking care of our soldiers who come home.

These guys claim Trump is ill-informed, but how many classified documents do they have?
I've yet to see evidence trump can read at any comprehension level, so while he has many documents, only Kid Rock and a handful of foreign spies have been able to read them.
I'm pretty sure he hasn't read any of the ones he's had piled up in the bathroom.

It is not that he's ill informed, it is that he is willfully ignorant and utterly dishonest when the truth and facts don't benefit him. Which given how much he lies, is pretty much all the time. It must be so be some miracle he didn't try to bomb an ally (that we know of) and I can't think of one good thing he did while in office that he wasn't compelled to do so by laws, precedent and his few remaining competent staff preventing him from fucking it up.
Wow, the RINO population has exploded. All that so called climate change is obviuosly good for plants/grass that they eat.
