I don't collect anything, except for years. I do enjoy the artwork, though, and the memories that come with it.
I see no rules about the format of the moomin content. Just needs to be moomin :)
The best kind of rule! Haha
I can't describe the deep calm, reverence, these mugs, and this show in general, invoke.
I can only imagine. Sometimes I fantasize about running away and becoming Snufkin, but then, don't we all?
Honestly, I thought I was the only one, and I was always fearful of admitting this... I am among family here, it seems.
The Moomins are wonderful.
They achieve a tone in media I only experienced again with Bee and Puppycat.
A depiction of a fantastical reality that is mundane and comfortable in all the best ways.
And they haven't gone overboard with the fantastical world, either. And that's not an easy feat to achieve!
I've never heard of Bee and Puppycat, but it looks super cute!
I love your mugs. Makes me sad though. I had mine at work and it just disappeared into thin air one day...
: ( that sucks so bad. I'm so sorry that happened
Mugs growing legs at work is the main reason I only bring mugs I don't care about. If they take my Microsoft mug, o well. But if they take my Moomim mug, I'd be heartbroken.
It's weird too because I'm pretty sure nobody would take it, since no one knows Moomin here. I think I walked away with it somewhere and forgot it/set it down. There was construction at that time so it probably got tossed by a crew thinking it was left by the previous tenants.
Maybe they took it thinking it was left over by a previous tenant (instead of tossing it), and started using it. Liking the artwork, they researched it, and are now fans of the show and content. Maybe, [hopefully]...
