Rockstar Games heeft de anticheat BattlEye toegevoegd aan de negen jaar oude pc-versie van GTA V. De ontwikkelaar wil hiermee online spelers beschermen. Deze implementatie van BattlEye draait op kernelniveau en is niet compatibel met de Steam Deck.
